An initiative designed for young people that combines creativity, nature and discovery is born in Asiago: it is called Asiago Photo Camp and is much more than a simple photography course.

It is a summer experience dedicated to children and young people between 9 and 13 years old, designed to bring them closer to the world of images in a practical, accessible and stimulating way. You don't need to have technical skills or professional equipment: even a simple smartphone is enough to start observing the world with new eyes.

The goal of the camp is not only to learn how to take photographs, but to develop a more attentive and conscious look. Through a guided tour, participants are accompanied to grasp details, lights and perspectives, transforming what surrounds them into a personal visual story.

During the weeks of activities, the children work in small groups, alternating outdoor moments with practical exercises and discussion phases. The days are structured between outings in nature, observation activities, field photography and small individual creative projects, with the aim of building a tailor-made path for each participant.

The natural context of the Asiago Plateau thus becomes an integral part of the experience: not just a background, but a real open-air laboratory, where you can experiment and be inspired.

The camp takes place in three different summer weeks — from 27 to 31 July, from 3 to 7 August and from 17 to 21 August — with daily hours from 9:30 to 15:30.
At the end of each week there will be a final moment open to parents, during which the children present a selection of the works created: an opportunity to share the path taken and enhance their creativity.

"Asiago Photo Camp" is therefore proposed as a complete educational experience, capable of combining personal expression, relationship with the environment and development of visual sensitivity. A concrete opportunity for young people to slow down, observe and tell the world through images.

How it takes place

We work in small groups to follow each participant well.

During the week we will alternate:

• - observation exercises
• - Practical photography
• - small personal projects
• - moments of selection and comparison
• - preparation of the final exhibition

Who is it for?

For curious children and teenagers, even without photographic experience.

You don't need to have a professional camera: you just need a simple device with which to shoot (even an older mobile phone).

A deposit of €100 is required to confirm your seat.
The balance is paid before the start of the chosen week.
