The Gnomes
Hurrah, Gnomes are waking up
and... they are waiting for you !
From 11th May (for Groups upon request)
From 21st June to October for individual or guided tours.
In the proximity of the hotel you can meet the gnomes in their magic village, situated in a wonderland. They are supposed to live hidden in their forest and they love silence and animals.
One of them is named Siben and he is the symbol of Altopiano di Asiago.
The Gnomes' village was created thanks to the arrival of small and wise creatures from northern countries. They chose Pöslen forest as their ideal homeland, due to the integrity of this territory: a magic land within the 90,000 mq park of Hotel Da Barba.
In this unpolluted environment, alpine flowers, wild animals as well as ancient galleries, engraved in the memories of our beloved writer Mr Mario Rigoni Stern, make our guests discover a wonderland rich of Nature, Magic and History... an unforgettable experience!
The fir forests and green fields are featured by a route with a fitness trail that (also thanks to the support of one of our Guides) will enable to spend a lovely day in a Fairytale atmosphere: silence, forest scents, a small waterfall, a pond, a bridge, houses on trees...
You will experience a unique and indescribable sensation!
